4TH ESO - SHORT FILM FESTIVAL - EXPERIENCE IT- LIVE IT - UNDERSTAND IT

This year, our 4ºESO proudly hosted the 2nd edition of Creazel’s – A Short Film Festival, a creative and collaborative project where students explored English culture through filmmaking. Divided into six groups, our students dove into the rich cultural landscape of Irelandits history, literature, traditions, and cuisinebefore writing original scripts and producing short films based on their research.

Each group was assigned a different topic: some reenacted historical events, others created parodies of famous Irish plays, while others invented stories around traditional customs or Irish food. Through weeks of brainstorming, scriptwriting, filming, and editing, students not only practiced their English but also honed their storytelling, teamwork, and technical skills.

The final products were 5-minute short films evaluated on language use, creativity, cinematic quality, and impact on the audience. The festival concluded with a screening and award ceremony, celebrating the originality and hard work of each team.

Projects like this remind us that language learning goes beyond the classroom walls. It´s about experiencing culture, collaborating creatively, and communicating meaningfully. Congratulations to all the participants for bringing Irish culture to life on screen!
