Today our Bilingual Section turned the classroom into a real 3D Atmosphere Lab. Students from 1st ESO designed and built layered models to “travel” from the Troposphere all the way to the Exosphere, discovering what happens in each layer… and explaining it in English!
Through this CLIL activity, they combined Science + English + Creativity: drawing storms, clouds, the ozone layer, meteors and satellites, adding heights and key vocabulary in English, and presenting their models to their classmates.
This was more than a worksheet. It was an experience, learning science by touching it, building it, and speaking it.
That is exactly what we want our Bilingual Section to be: a place where ideas rise from the page and come alive.
