From Commitments to Change: Our Mobility Wall (26 November – World Sustainable Transport Day)
To celebrate World Sustainable Transport Day, students from the Mendoza Bilingual Section created an interactive display called “Our Mobility Commitments”: first, we mapped how we started (sustainable vs. unsustainable ways of coming to school). Then, each student added a personal promise—drawn, written, and signed—because real change begins with small, repeated decisions.
And the numbers spoke:
Results 2025 (approx.)
Walk: 59%
Bus: 29%
Bike: 5%
Car sharing: 3%
Parents’ car: 2%
Behind every percentage there is a choice: less CO₂, cleaner air, healthier bodies, safer streets, and a school community that takes climate action seriously.
Finally, we looked ahead with Our Dreams 2030: clean mobility, eco-leaders, renewables, green classrooms, a sustainable garden… and a “zero carbon” mindset. Because education is not just about learning the world—it’s about redesigning it.
