VISIT TO THE MUSEUM
1 ESO F visited the school’s Natural History Museum with Ana Mayoral. They were able to learn about the Museum, which was founded in 1905 to house the collections and specimens scattered throughout the Center since the end of the previous century.
Ana explained how the museum came to be what it is today, and how what we can find comes primarily from donations from national and international institutions, sometimes private individuals, and even former students. The students were amazed by all those specimens and some reproductions and teaching models that served as teaching equipment at the time.
Ana patiently answered all their questions while providing invaluable explanations, so the students enjoyed a lesson in Natural History while also appreciating their heritage, as this place is one of a kind, because not many school museums with so much history between its walls can be found nowadays.
As expected, they begged to come back again, so we’ll be sure to ask Ana for another lesson!
