A glimpse of South African culture and history
As part of our Cultural Week,3rd year bilingual students took part in an interactive gallery walk focused on South African culture. In groups, they created engaging stands exploring topics such as history, music, sports, and social aspects of the country.
Students presented their work inEnglish while guiding visitors through the different stands, encouraging questions and interaction. The activity became even more meaningful as other students and former members of the bilingual programme visited the exhibition, creating a space for shared learning and connection.
This experience not only strengthened students’ communication skills, but also turned the classroom into a dynamic and collaborative learning environment.
